Fiberglas 700 Series Insulation is available unfaced or faced with FRK or ASJ facers. Thicknesses range from 1” to 4”.
Each Owens Corning Fiberglas 700 Series Insulation product has thermal and acoustical physical properties designed for specific applications. 703 is semi-rigid for applications were board like properties are needed. 705 products are rigid for use where strength, abuse resistance and good appearance are crucial.
Owens Corning Fiberglas 703 and 705 Insulation has low burning characteristics to meet building code requirements for exposed applications. The products can be applied to building surfaces without the need for any separate covering or finish. The ASJ Max facer used on 700 series insulation baords is tougher than standard ASJ. It has a polymer coating that helps resist water and staining and does not support mold or mildew growth. The ASJ Max facing can resist short durations of liquid water exposure that can occur during construction.
